Description: “Oh My God! The Big Boy’s gone.”

If anyone has seen the first Austin Powers movie, you will recognize the iconic Big Boy. At the time of that movie being out, I had no idea it was an actual restaurant. I was also 12 at the time and the internet was still in it’s infancy.

Anyways, after seeing one while driving to Ohio one year, I was super pumped to know one was close to me. It took a few years, but I finally got to go there and get a photo with Big Boy… and try out their food.

Now everything I am saying is based on the one location in Danville, IL. Other places may be nicer. This one in particular was pretty dated and borderline dumpy, sad to say. Not even retro-dated. It just seemed really out-dated, like it hasn’t had TLC since the early 90’s.

The food was super delicious though! So that bumped what would have been a 2/5 rating to a 3/5. The staff did a great job of taking care of us. So if you don’t mind an outdated restaurant with good food, try it out… and of course, get a photo with Big Boy!

They are sparsely located throughout the States, so one may be close to you! Check via the website below and see.
