Description: Unlike TT’s Barbeque in Peoria, IL, this place does not have Fort Knox-levels of Bulletproof glass.

It was my mom’s birthday and she was hungry. So another BBQ place with her! I have driven by this place many times, just in my errands-running life that I live. I suggested the place to her and away we go.

We were seated immediately and the server was friendly and brought us drinks asap. The menu was moderately priced and a few things looked appetizing. I don’t remember what my mom ordered, but I ordered some chicken drizzled in cheese and bacon. Sounds appetizing, and it was…. but gosh dang, the chicken piece was no bigger than my fist (as seen below). My mom wasn’t huge on what she ordered, either. On top of that, the wait for the food took forever, it felt like.

As for the restaurant itself, it was sparsely decorated in music/jazz-themed pictures and posters. It wasn’t a lot, but it wasn’t bare bones. Others have said this place is great. I think it was ok. I wouldn’t really recommend it unless you are in the area and craving authentic BBQ. But then again, your mileage may vary.
