Description: A place full of childhood memories and beautiful views.

Lake Wildwood is a private gated community where you have to live there, have someone let you in or own a ‘camp ground’. Luckily, my cousin has a camping spot, so he can go out there and camp whenever he wants.

I actually have been coming here since I was a kid, but there was about a 15 year gap where I didn’t make it out here. I must say, it was great going back! So many memories came flooding back as we traveled around and camped, fished, swam and hiked. Everything is as it was, but still was modern and up-to-date.

If you are ever given the chance to go to Lake Wildwood, do yourself a favor and go. You can hike, camp, fish, swim, make s’mores and relax to being in nature but around tons of other campers. Three of my favorite memories of going recently. 1. Drunk night fishing with my cousin where you could see endless stars in the sky. 2. That following morning, fishing again and catching 18 fish in under an hour. 3. Taking my younger brother camping/fishing for the first time.

I am a huge proponent of camping and thinks everyone should go out and get in tune with nature and themselves. The break from the day-to-day routine is great and you will feel better about everything. 🙂
