Description: Stevenson House was once the house to a Vice President, US Representative and lawyer.

Honestly, I don’t know much or have much to say about the Stevenson House. I stopped by one day because I saw the road signs. Since they seem to have limited tours, I was not privy of getting an inside look. But the house itself is nice. They seemed to have done a great job of restoring it.

In 1980, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It would be cool to view the inside of the House, but with limited tours and a non-existent website, it will be hard to get in and see.

But if you happen to find yourself in Metamora, you can pop in and see a historical house one of the Vice Presidents of the USA lived in back in the 1800’s.
