Description: I can safely report that the games here do work!

Heading up to Medieval Times for a day with some friends, we decided to scope out the area early and see what fun could be had before the Dinner Theater. We ended up at a few places that weren’t worth mentioning, but GameWorks was.

If you have ever been to a Dave & Busters, it’s basically the same thing. It’s an adult Chuck E Cheese. Tons of arcade games to play that reward you with prizes for doing well/playing. With it being a more ‘adult’ setting, they offer pretty much a full menu of food and drinks.

Now this place was a few years ago, so the ol’ memory is foggy. But I do remember having fun here with my (now ex)girlfriend and some close friends. It wasn’t as fun as Dave & Busters. But we still had a blast.

Sadly, looking into the company while writing this blog, it has had some rough years up until recently. They went from having quite a few locations to having to close up shop on a majority of them. Luckily this one is still open and so are quite a few others. But if you look at the Wiki page, you can see all the locations that were closed.

Enough of the sad news! If you catch yourself needing to scratch an arcade itch, GameWorks is a good itch relief.
